Shri Binu R., a distinguished expatriate entrepreneur and community leader, hails from Attingal in Kerala. Born into a humble and value-driven family, he is the son of Shri Ravindran P., a respected businessman, and Smt. Pankajakshy K., whose guidance and support played a vital role in shaping his early life.
With a strong determination to build a better future, Shri Binu migrated to the Gulf in 1992. Beginning his journey as a driver in Muscat, his story is a remarkable example of perseverance, hard work, and steady growth. Through dedication and entrepreneurial vision, he rose to establish himself as a successful businessman in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, earning respect both professionally and within the expatriate community.
Despite his demanding career abroad, Shri Binu has always maintained deep roots with his homeland and has actively contributed to social and community initiatives. His life journey reflects resilience, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to uplift fellow expatriates.
He is supported by his wife, Smt. Thanka Binu, and is a proud father of two accomplished daughters — Dr. Arya Binu and Akshara Binu — who embody the family’s values of education and excellence.
As Chairman of Pravasam Trust, Shri Binu R. brings with him decades of global exposure, leadership experience, and a heartfelt commitment to the welfare of the Pravasi community. His vision is to strengthen the Trust’s mission, enhance support systems for expatriates, and create meaningful opportunities for engagement, welfare, and development.
